Who I am
I come across as someone who is curious and enjoys learning new things. I am not afraid to ask questions and seek answers when I don't understand something. I am willing to learn from my mistakes, avoiding prejudice and finding opposing viewpoints interesting. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about new areas of interest.
I'm Venezuelan and I living in Caracas since 1998.
What I do
I am a Senior Front-end Developer with 5 years of experience. I have worked in various industries such as pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, motorcycles and sports, successfully delivered projects that resulted in improvement for user experience and reduced loading time.
In my most recent position at Modu One LLC, I led and mentored a team of junior developers in the creation of a motorcycle sales platform, resulting in a 25% increase in sales. On the other hand I accompanied the web and mobile team in the development of an online pharmacy that included an order management platform to improve the efficiency of the delivery process and an online customer friendly user interface.
In addition, I contributed to the development of mobile applications for both iOS and Android that allowed customers to place orders from their mobile devices, and we also developed an application for motorized deliveries to optimize the delivery process.
Throughout my career, I have provided mentoring to junior developers, helping them improve their skills and understanding of best practices in software development.

Education
I graduated from Universidad Metropolitana with a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineer, where I acquired a solid foundation in programming languages such as Javascript, Python and Java.
During my studies, I took courses in web development (frontend and backend), machine learning, data science, dev-ops, among others. I have also taken several online courses and attended workshops to keep up to date with the latest developments in my field.
Although my university education has been a cornerstone in my career, what stands out the most is my self-taught capacity that has allowed me to adapt to the challenges I have encountered along the way.
